For a dose of , draw to
units
That's of liquid.
- One vial gives you
- Syringe
How the math works
- Divide your dose by the strength. A 0.5 mg dose of 2.5 mg/mL semaglutide is 0.5 ÷ 2.5 = 0.2 mL.
- Multiply mL by 100 to get units. On a U-100 syringe, 1 mL = 100 units, so 0.2 mL = 20 units.
- Divide what's in the vial by your dose. A 2 mL vial at 2.5 mg/mL holds 5 mg, so it gives 10 doses of 0.5 mg.
Always follow your prescription
This calculator is for education. Use the dose and syringe line your prescriber gives you, and ask before changing anything. If the number here doesn't match your instructions, contact your prescriber before injecting.
